The evening begins with the Western phase. Queen Contestants deliver a prepared speech while wearing an evening gown. During the Eastern phase, Queen Contestants answer an impromptu question while wearing a traditional furisode silk kimono. The evening ends with the crowning of the 69th Cherry Blossom Festival Queen and Court.

To ensure the safety of all participants, this year, we are hosting a unique Festival Ball experience! Those who are interested in viewing the 69th Cherry Blossom Festival Ball can purchase a room at the Sheraton for the night and enjoy watching the show from the comfort of their hotel room.
